Parenting Education ToT
Parenting Education ToT for FCHVs Since 2022, Parenting Education Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions have been conducted for Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs) in Bideha Municipality and Janaknandini Rural Municipality across different wards. The ToTs were organized to strengthen the knowledge and facilitation skills of FCHVs on positive parenting, child care, early childhood development, nutrition, health, hygiene, child protection, and gender-responsive practices. Through these ToTs, FCHVs were equipped to conduct Parenting Education (P.E.) sessions and home visits with parents and caregivers in their respective communities. The sessions emphasized positive interaction with children, responsive caregiving, fathers’ involvement, early learning through play, proper nutrition, hygiene, and creating a safe and supportive environment for children. The ToTs have helped strengthen the capacity of FCHVs and promote positive parenting practices and improved child well-being at household and community levels.
