Social Development and Research Centre (SDRC) Nepal
Social Development and Research Centre (SDRC) Nepal is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 1994 and registered with the District Administration Office, Dhanusha, and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council, Kathmandu. With its head office in Mills Area, Janakpurdham, Dhanusha, SDRC has been working for more than three decades to promote inclusive, resilient, and sustainable development and to improve the well-being of vulnerable, marginalized, and disadvantaged communities.
Since its establishment, SDRC has worked closely with communities, local governments, government agencies, development partners, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to address social, economic, environmental, and humanitarian challenges. The organization emphasizes community participation, local ownership, capacity strengthening, social inclusion, gender equality, and sustainable development in the design and implementation of its programs.

Geographic Coverage
SDRC has implemented programs across different districts of Madhesh Province, responding to local needs and priorities. Its areas of operation have included Dhanusha, Siraha, Saptari, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Bara, Parsa, and Rautahat.
Through its long-standing presence and community-based approach, SDRC continues to strengthen local capacities, promote inclusive development, and contribute to resilient and empowered communities.
